If there was a theoretical cable that could hold the particles of an atom, the lining of the hose would have to bond in a chain of material that would not let the contents of the internal quarks and gluons and atom matter to fall out. This atom chain would also influence the particles to flow and to cause a catalyst to propel the cable to move or the object it was attached to, to change even gravitational properties.
